A "Seminar on the Law on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) and General Legal Information" was organized by WALD lawyers at the Sultangazi Urban Adaptation Unit. Commencing with the introductions of the participants, the seminar continued in an interactive manner. The seminar increased awareness on the protection of personal data by providing participants with legal information.
During the seminar, the importance and scope of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) and the rights of the participants were conveyed in detail, and information was provided on how they can protect their personal data. A comprehensive presentation was made regarding the steps to be taken by individuals whose personal data has been violated and the authorities they can apply to, emphasizing the importance of the legal framework for the protection of personal data.
By explaining the points that participants should pay attention to in legal processes, it was aimed to increase their general legal knowledge level. Awareness was raised regarding the living conditions, rights, and legal processes of individuals under temporary protection in Turkey. The seminar concluded with detailed discussions on important topics such as the rights of individuals under temporary protection concerning education, healthcare, work permits, marriage, and divorce.
