It is generally known that music can slow down and regulate brain waves, affect breathing, heartbeat, pulse and blood pressure, reduce muscle tension, develop body movements and coordination, improve memory and learning skills and regulate stress-dependent hormones and have an absolute effect on humans. Considering universality of music and its positive impact on human psychology, ukulele and frame drum courses were commenced at our Social Protection Desks of Şişli, Kağıthane and Pendik for children.

Participated by refugees and children from host community at the ages between 8-12, the courses aim to teach children to play instrument, develop their musical aptitudes and social cohesion with the relaxing rehabilitating impact of music. With such projects, it is also ensured that participant children can collect attention, control feelings and reduce anxiety.
