Family Awareness Training Conducted
Participants were informed about technology addiction and healthy technology usage during the Family Awareness Training organized by WALD—in collaboration with the Bağcılar Social Service Center—as part of the YŞEY Project.
The World Academy for Local Government and Democracy (WALD) conducted a "Family Awareness Training" session at the Bağcılar Social Service Center.
During the event, participants received information regarding the definition and symptoms of technology addiction, as well as its impact on individuals' daily lives. Particular emphasis was placed on managing screen time, using technology healthily, developing alternative activities, and enhancing parents' skills in setting boundaries for their children. Participants were encouraged to actively engage in the process and share their personal experiences related to the topic.
Mutual interaction and sharing during the training helped make the topics discussed easier to understand and more practical to implement. The event aimed to help individuals establish a healthier relationship with technology and develop a protective awareness against the risks of potential technology addiction. The information provided and the sharing of experiences served to raise participants' awareness regarding healthy technology usage.
