A special event titled "Collage Workshop" was held for children aged 6 to 14 in the children's play area by the WALD Bağcılar Urban Adaptation Unit, with the facilitation of talented Artist Psychologist Ayşe Derin Ergenç.
The workshop began with the participating children introducing themselves to one another and to the workshop facilitator. The event enabled the children to freely express their imaginations, get acquainted with a new art form, and produce their own original works using cutting techniques.
The participating children were provided with materials such as A4 paper, glue, and scissors, and were asked to cut out pieces they liked from colorful children's magazines and arrange them on the A4 paper in any format they wished. During this process, the children acquired the skill of producing works of art by combining different visuals and colors.
At the end of the workshop, the children showcased their creativity and created their own works of art. Serving as an occasion for each child to become an artist through their experiences and accumulate enjoyable memories, this event contributed to the development of the children's artistic talents and allowed them to spend an enjoyable day.
