An event was organized through the collaboration of the WALD Sancaktepe Social Protection Desk and the "An Armful of Happiness" Community, with the participation of volunteer members.
As WALD, we are aware of how crucial schooling, access to information, and socializing by being in the same environment with their peers are for children's future lives, and we continue our work with this awareness. In this direction, a total of 50 refugee children aged between 5 and 13 participated in the event held at the Sancaktepe Municipality Samandıra Culture Center, where we brought together refugee children in need with the An Armful of Happiness Community.
During the event, where face-painting activities were conducted and games were played with the children, school sets and toys provided by the volunteers were shared with the children. On this occasion, the refugee children found the opportunity to socialize by being in the same environment with their peers and enjoyed experiencing a happy day by receiving their gifts.
