WALD Faaliyet Raporu 2015-2017

The World Academy for Local Government and Democracy (WALD) is a non-profit non-governmental organization which serves the public interest. It aims to create deeper comprehension of democracy among local governments, to contribute to local governments in institutionalizing democratic participatory methods and processes, and to help them find alternative functional methods and tools which will ensure development and maintenance of human rights. It also encourages the exchange of views and sharing of experiences between local government and non-governmental organizations, again aimed at the same purpose.
