We meet with Jordanian Students: We build bridges among cultures!

Academician Associate Dr. Ashraf Alqudah and psychology major students studying at different Universities in America and visit School for International Training (SIT) as exchange students were hosted by Sultangazi Urban Harmonization Unit on March 16th 2023. Within the framework of the visit, WALD senior field officer Can Yılmaz and psychologists gave information about the works Social Protection Project activities, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), global climate change, human rights, health, schooling of children and women's entrepreneurship carried out in cooperation with WALD, UNHCR, and local governments. In the following parts of the meeting, WALD's work on access to basic needs and psychosocial support after the earthquake disasters in Turkey were discussed.

Many valuable views were exchanged with the participants on the importance and impact of WALD’s activities. Also Associated Dr. Ashraf Alqudah and students shared their ideas and experiences on this issue. Along with this visit, a crucial platform was created, where cultures come together and share knowledge and experience.
