The Importance and Role of the Family in the Process of Adjusting to School

In the period when the excitement of families and children increased with the approaching new academic year, the "Role of the Family in the Adaptation to School Process" event was held on August 23, 2023, under the leadership of Küçükçekmece Social Protection Desk.

In the training given by the psychologist; the importance of giving children positive attitudes towards school and increasing their self-confidence was emphasized. At the same time, the symptoms of students' adjustment problems, the reasons that make it difficult to get used to school, and the wrong expressions used in the process of getting used to school were expressed.

In this context, parents who dream of a better future and want their children to receive a good education, what should be considered were evaluated. In the program carried out with parents, especially; the importance of knowing why children's education is important in their lives, being convinced of this, taking small steps for success, and that they should not be compared with other children, and the importance of guiding their children from parents was mentioned.
