Qudra 2 Türkiye Program Closing Meeting

Closing meeting of Qudra 2 Türkiye Project, in which we participated as WALD was held in Ankara on 10 August 2023 with the participation of senior representatives of the Local Government, International Organization and Directorate of Migration Management. Within the scope of the meeting, it was emphasized that important exercises were carried out to strengthen the host communities, as well as social and legal support aids for Syrian refugees.

Qudra 2 Turkey Country Coordinator Dagmar Blickwede, who took the floor in the opening speeches of the program, underlined the important contribution of cooperation with all stakeholders in raising awareness in municipalities and reaching the determined target. She also gave information about how the project is not limited to only concrete aids, but also to raise awareness, increase cultural interaction and offer sustainable solutions.

Meeting was concluded by stating that the project could be used as a model supporting social cohesion and solidarity by setting an example for similar initiatives in the future.
