Peer Bullying and Peer Relations in Children

Peer bullying has become widespread in today's world, especially in schools. Peer bullying, which is becoming more and more common among children and young people, is among the top priority issues to be addressed. Social Protection project that is carried out in cooperation with World Academy for Local Government and Democracy (WALD), United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and local governments, continues its psychosocial support activities without slowing down in order to raise awareness about peer bullying on children.

WALD Küçükçekmece Social Protection Desk organized on March 8th 2023 “Peer Bullying and Peer Relations in Children” event accompanied by psychologists. In this context, psychologists informed children about how they should behave and from whom they should seek help in case of any bullying in places such as schools, parks and playgrounds.
