I learn to say, NO! ...

As the World Academy for Local Government and Democracy (WALD), we continue the “mentorship” activities that we have carried out in particular for children and young people. In these activities; “Privacy training in children, good touch- bad touch, I learn to say no training ” activity was held on 15 September 2022 with the participation of children of refugee and host populations in the Gaziosmanpaşa Social Protection Desk. 

The purpose of the activity is to increase awareness of children about the protection against the harmful situations that may come from outside, school and their social life and to learn to say "NO" when they do not want to. In this activity, children are able to distinguish between good touch and bad touch, know what the bad touch is, know what to do against disturbing touches, say “no” in cases where they feel uncomfortable, take responsibility for self -protection and do not touch their bodies without their permission. With this privacy training they have taken, children are informed about how to protect themselves and how to deal with possible dangers.
