EVERY RIGHT FOR EVERY CHILD EVERYWHERE
Within the scope of the Social Protection Project carried out in cooperation with the WALD and UNHCR; Celebrated the "20 November Child Rights Day" held at Maltepe University Education Village Cultural Center hosted by Maltepe University with an event.
Participating in the event, Maltepe University Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. In her speech, Betül ÇOTUKSÖKEN underlined that on World Children's Rights Day, children are important for the future of the world and that their rights and education should be studied meticulously.
In the event, children watched the presentation on “20 November World Children's Rights Day”. Within the framework of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, children's rights were exemplified, and the importance of these rights, their existence, and indispensability for all children without discrimination were emphasized.
The cartoon "Ratatuy-Ratatouille", which tells the children how the mouse Remy, who wants to realize his dream, copes with the difficulties he encounters in a world where there is a humanity that does not like mice, told the subjects of "discrimination", "prejudice" and "determination". The event ended by coloring the animals painted surrealistically by Joan Miro and the suprematist work of Olga Rozonava in which emotions are expressed with geometric shapes.
The event ended by presenting a gift and a plaque to Aysun ALBAY, the Head of Health, Culture and Sports Department, by Mehmet DUMAN, Minister of WALD Board of Directors.
