What Are the Project's Objectives?
As part of a project designed to support innovative women entrepreneurs, practical sewing and gastronomy workshops were established in the Gaziosmanpaşa and Sultangazi municipalities. In these workshops, a group of women—comprising 30 local residents and 30 refugees—produced washable masks, organic noodles, pickles, and jams. The products were sold at local markets and at designated municipal sales points, with the proceeds distributed equally among the participants. In addition to the economic empowerment of women, the project also aims to foster social cohesion.
