Visit to Avcılar District

Mehmet Duman, WALD Chairman of the Executive Board, paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Kemal Inan, Avcılar District Governor. During the visit, Governor İnan talked about the past works of the Avcılar district and presented information about refugee-related projects and collaborations of the governorship. Governor İnan underlined the importance of social cohesion projects and emphasized that they will continue to take steps to maintain cooperation in this regard. District Governor Inan also stated that they will continue to work on the participation of refugees in social life.

Underlining that governorates are ideal actors to encourage cooperation between public institutions and civil society, Duman, WALD Chairman of the Executive Board emphasized the importance of using resources considering no one is left behind.
