Courtesy Visit of EU Delegation to Turkey to Our Foundation

Head of the Economic and Social Development Section of the European Union Delegation to Türkiye Angel GUTIERREZ HIDALGO DE QUINTANA and Education and Training Sector Manager of the European Union Delegation to Türkiye Prof. Dr. Mustafa BALCI paid a courtesy visit to Chairman of the Executive Board of the World Academy of Local Government and Democracy (WALD) Mehmet DUMAN.

During the visit, a detailed presentation was made about the national and international projects and activities of WALD. Also, new collaboration opportunities were discussed at the meeting. After the presentation, Angel GUTIERREZ HIDALGO DE QUINTANA appreciated the activities of WALD and stated that the relations between WALD and the European Union will continue by getting stronger. Within the scope of the visit, evaluations were made about the ongoing and planned European Union projects of WALD. 

After the evaluation of cooperation and future projects, WALD Chairman of the Executive Board Mehmet DUMAN thanked to European Union Delegation to Türkiye Head of Economic and Social Development Section Angel GUTIERREZ HIDALGO DE QUINTANA and Education and Training Sector Manager Prof. Dr. Mustafa BALCI for their kind visit and presented a plaquet
