Cooperative Movement in Local

WALD continues its sustainable and inclusive works at the point of accelerating the economic cycles in the local and creating new markets through cooperatives. In this direction; It is preparing to provide consultancy services to local governments on cooperatives, the pilot implementation of which was completed in two districts (Sultangazi, Gaziosmanpaşa) last year.

In this sense, WALD continues its preparations to make training on below titles:

• Principles and basic principles of cooperatives,

• New trends and best practices regarding cooperatives,

• Introduction to social and platform cooperatives,

• Local governments and cooperative partnerships: approaches and best practices

• Local and national decision-making process and methods of participation in cooperatives,

• A value proposition design and development, sustainability and canvas business model in cooperatives,

• Legislative structure of cooperatives (establishment, dispersion, control, etc.)

• Financial and administrative management, transparency, and control of cooperative

•Communication and digital marketing for cooperatives,

• Lobbying and advocacy for cooperatives. This project, which we started as WALD, focuses on "Decent Work and Economic Growth", which is the 8th goal of the Sustainable Development Goals, and the 17th goal, "Partnerships for the Goals". Also; It is also aimed that the products produced through cooperatives to be established locally are branded and used in national and international markets.
