Esq. Arbitrator Emin CANACANKATAN

After graduating from the Faculty of Law at Istanbul University, Canacankatan started his career as a founding and managing partner of Emek Law Office in 1984. He founded Canacankatan Law Office in 1987. He holds membership and management positions in many non-governmental and occupational organisations. Some of these include membership to Turkish Penal Law Foundation, membership to 1905 Galatasaraylı Yönetici ve İş Adamları Derneği (1905 Association of Administrators and Businessmen Supporting Galatasaray), and member to United Cities and Local Governments Middle East West Asia (UCLG-MEWA) Financial Management Committee. 

He is a general arbitrator and arbitrator with an expertise on business law at the Department of Mediation of the Ministry of Justice. He is the founding and managing partner, and the chairman of the board of Canacankatan Mediation and Arbitration Company. He successfully completed the National (Domestic) Arbitration Certificate Program at Aydın University. He has employer and representative of the employer training completion certificate with regards to Occupational Health and Safety Services at Anadolu University, which is supported by the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Security of Turkey. Canacankatan Mediation and Arbitration Center Inc., of which Esq. Emin Canacankatan is the founding and managing partner, is a member to Central Platform for Mediation of Turkey, ISTAC / ISTANBUL ARBITRATION CENTRE and Mediation Volunteers Foundation.
